Every product that ships out goes out in the minimum amount of packaging required to get the items to their destination safely and securely. No more, no less.
Materials
The Pela Case is made of Flaxstic®, which is comprised of compostable bioplastic elastomer and flax straw materials. Our material has been tested to be safe and free of phthalates, BPA, cadmium and lead, and meets U.S. and E.U. standards for composting in an industrial composting facility. We think about sustainability issues at the beginning of the product design process, so that sustainability is a fundamental aspect of each newly developed product. GREENGUARD Gold certified ink is one of the world's most trusted names in product safety and certification. Most printing techniques, including printing with plant based inks, require Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) solvents to cure the ink; whereas, we use UV curing inks that do not emit VOCs and it also provides greater energy-saving advantages over conventional printing.
